I read recently where couples who have children later in life, say in their mid 30s and 40s, have a greater chance of having a child with autism, similar to how the odds go way up for Downs Syndrome. Interestingly, the article I read tied the higher incidence of autism to the age of male sperm. It also helps to explain why the number of kids diagnosed with autism has skyrocketed in the last couple decades. People are having babies later. Do we not mention these things because they are taboo or politically incorrect? If I offended anyone,I apologize. I&#039;m clueless, not intentionally mean.</description>
